高山寨古树 2022秋
Pure gushu Autumn material, picked and processed by Philip Lee in Gaoshan Zhai, Yiwu region.
This is a particularly enjoyable and well-rounded Gaoshan. Clear, high-pitched sweetness is the initial impression, but this is underpinned by a soft body of nuts and darker-toned fleshy florals to add depth. In typical Gaoshan tradition, this is a refreshing and easy-to-drink tea, yet this production has substantial body and is very satisfying to enjoy drinking slowly. The qi is deep and comforting, spreading slowly from the chest outwards.
This is a tea we were after during our Oct 2022 Autumn tea sourcing trip; sadly due to pandemic controls we were unable to visit Philip in Gaoshan Village then. Fortunately we secured some later on a subsequent visit to his Guangzhou home base. Those familiar with Phil and his webstore "Yiwu Mountain Tea" will know his commitment to quality. We are happy to offer some of this tea for our customers to taste.
