FatBat Private Pressing Gushu Raw Puerh
弯弓古树
This is a pure gushu pressing from the Jiu Miao (旧庙) micro-region in the broader Wan Gong area. It is an exemplary showcase of the qualities that has made Wan Gong one of the most sought-after regions in Yiwu.
We are particularly pleased with the meticulous processing on this material. All the complexity and rich sweetness is expressed in a clean, delineated flavor profile -- no muddled notes or off-notes. The sweetness goes endlessly without becoming cloying, in a thick, lubricating soup. Texture improves even more dramatically in later steeps and the huigan keeps going long after the sip, in constant waves for up to 30 minutes after drinking.
Pause between steeps to fully experience the throat-feel and mouth-coating sweetness. A supremely easy-to-appreciate tea, yet packing an insidious amount of qi and body-feel for the experienced drinkers who seek this.
